Landscape architect & 
University of Melbourne (Burnley) Horticulture student, Emma Sheppard-Simms was the successful recipient of the 2023 inaugural Open Gardens Victoria (OGV) Student Garden Design Competition, to design and install a vibrant garden at the OGV stand at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show

Launched in 2015, Open Gardens Victoria is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation that assists garden owners to open their private gardens to the public and also organise gardening and horticultural themed events.
